Chris has over 18 years of experience in the Social Care Sector. Chris’ professional experiences have been through working with children and young people in local authority settings, NHS (working with vulnerable adults), and private sector, from Junior Management to Senior Management.

Lenny Davis is a qualified social worker with over 20 years’ experience in statutory and private sectors, including Social Care, Education & Health settings. Having served as a member of a Local Authority Safeguarding Board for five years he was instrumental in developing its policy and procedures. He runs his own Safeguarding Training and Consultancy business devises bespoke training packages suitable for multi-agency needs.

is our Chief Lead Instructor |BSc Adventure Tourism Management
I am a highly active person when it comes to the outdoors. This started early having moved through the scouting system and completing the queen scout award. Since then, I completed an Adventure Tourism Management Degree in Fort William and gained various Qualifications. Working through these qualifications, I have had many different jobs and experiences in the outdoors giving me a broad skill set and knowledge base.

The Service Manager oversees all staff and carries full responsibility for all matters within the service. Our Senior Adventure Outdoor Mentors are responsible for overseeing Adventure Outdoor Mentors workers and they have full responsibility for the service whilst on duty and when the Service Manager is not on duty.

The Adventure Outdoor Mentors provide day-to-day support to young people and families residing at the service, ensuring that their physical and emotional needs are met. They have key responsibilities which include maintaining: Individual Placement, Behaviour Risk Management Plan, Child Criminal Exploitation, Missing From Care, Risk Management Plan Radicalisation Risk Management Plan, Contact Risk Management Plan, Child Sexual Exploitation Risk Management Plan and Other Risk Management Plans

Night duties consists of Adventure Residential Mentors workers and staff sleep-in duties have a responsibility for the welfare of the young people at the service as per their (young people’s) Individual Plans and Behaviour Management Plans. However, the Adventure Residential Mentors are responsible for the health and safety and security of the people and the building at night.
